To the readers, writers, and artists of Hive Avenue Literary Journal:

It is my privilege to announce that Issue IV of Hive Avenue Literary Journal is now live!

I am extremely grateful to the staff and faculty advisor, Dr. Moore, for their diligence in keeping up with the progress and development of Issue IV over the past few months. Our team may be small, but we are mighty. I would also like to thank each and every one of the contributors that we have had the opportunity to work with throughout this issue, and others.

Though my time as the managing editor of Hive Avenue has been somewhat short, I am very appreciative for the experiences this journal has given me and for the incredible influence that the staff and Dr. Moore has had on me. Thank you for all that you do.

Sincerely,

Malorie Andreasen
Managing Editor

Hive Avenue Issue 3 is now LIVE!

I would like to thank our staff and faculty advisor for their unending perseverance and hard work without which this installment of Hive Avenue would not be possible. Thank you to all of the contributors that I have worked with throughout these last three issues, as well.

Special appreciation goes out to my co-editor, Malorie Andreasen. She has been a vital part of these last two issues of Hive Avenue and has brought this third issue to fruition. As I have now completed my undergraduate work and will be moving on to graduate school, my time as the managing editor of Hive Avenue has come to an end. I will be forever grateful for the experience this journal has given me as well as the influence that the staff and Dr. Moore has had on me as a writer and leader.

It is with confidence that I hand over the reigns of Hive Avenue to Malorie as the new managing editor! Good luck with future issues! I am confident in your passion and ability to keep this journal running throughout your time as editor!

Thank you Hive Avenue!

Yours,

Ashleigh

Thank you both readers and contributors for your patience and understanding as we dealt with staff exits/changes that delayed our publishing. Unfortunately due to miscommunications and changes in faculty with the educational institution that we are under we are having to

pull the first issue until further notice. I want to personally

apologize for the confusion and premature publishing of

the journal. It was an attempted to publish the journal in a timely

manner to best respect our writers and their work. All contributors that have

been accepted for publication will be notified of changes and

when the publication date has been passed down to the remaining

Hive Avenue staff. Please contact me with any questions via my email: aseverson@nwacc.edu or @HiveAvenue on twitter. I will do my best to respond quickly and hopefully with positive news. Again, my sincerest apologies.
