NUCLEUS LITERARY MAGAZINE
A Journal for NWACC Students
Issue 1
Coming
Spring 2025
If you are a student at NorthWest Arkansas Community College, and a writer, poet, or visual artist - we want to see your creative work for a brand new, student-run publication!
NWACC students have been helping to produce the Hive Avenue Literary Journal since 2019, which publishes work from writers and students across the country. But we thought it was time to create a space designed to showcase the talents of NWACC students.
Why start
Nucleus
now?
As a part of the NWACC community YOU are important and deserve a place of your own to shine. We want your fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, art, graphic design, and photography for the first ever issue of Nucleus!
What is a Nucleus anyway?
In beekeeping, a Nucleus is a small starter hive, used to begin a new bee colony. And if you are an NWACC student with an artistic or creative mindset, then we want you to bee a part of our new colony here at Nucleus!

Starting this fall 2024, you can contribute to something brand new - the first frames of a starter hive devoted to the invention and artistic individuality of our NWACC student community. Our first issue of Nucleus will set the foundation for a future NWACC institution for years to come!
